Another gem of a Pasco County Golf Course Community is Beacon Woods, also in Hudson, Florida.  The Golf Club advertises itself as" Pasco County welcomes you to its best kept secret. Open to the public, this 18-hole, par-72 gem challenges all levels and abilities. Rolling fairways, changes in elevation, water hazards and undulating greens make it a treat for the eye and fun to play. Practice facilities include driving range, sand bunker and putting green. Step inside the clubhouse and enjoy our cozy restaurant, bar and golf shop."  It is a well respected and a well maintained course that is a joy to play.
The Beacon Woods real estate market is active because of the sheer numbers of homes, condo's and villas in the development.  At the present time, there are over 2100 individual homes and over 550 villas and condo's.  With the championship golf course and the various activities provided by the association, Beacon Woods is a very desireable place to live  If you are looking for an active life style and a community full of amenities, Beacon Woods should be on your list to investigate.
 

 Hernando Beach

 
       The Hernando Beach channel is finally in process of dredging.  When finished, we are promissed a channel that will be about 6 feet deep at mean low tide and 60 feet wide to the Watts Tripod--sailboat water for  those who enjoy quiet cruising.  Homes in the "direct access" areas have always had canals much deeper than 6 feet, but leaving or returning at low tide presented a problem for the deeper draft pleasure craft and for the area shrimpers at the commercial docks.    
    
 
The Hudson Beach area is another great boating area with generally very good access to the Gulf.  There is a public man-made and county maintained beach (Hudson Beach) and some nice restaurants from which to enjoy the view. Mobile homes are allowed in some areas of Hudson Beach and many are on direct access canals making it easier to enjoy the gulf experience either as a retreat or full time. 
 
 
Just a few miles south of Hudson Beach is the Gulf Harbors development.  Wide canals to the Gulf, an association maintained private beach, and many areas adjacent to natural preserves.  Gulf Harbors and its sister communities, the Woodlands, Sea Forest, Sea Colony, Egrets Place and Harbor Colony are deed restricted, waterfront communities and cater to boating and fishing enthusiasts.
 
 
 
Summertree is a friendly, active, 55+ golf community nestled in a wooded section with a manned security gate in the evening and night hours.  It provides homeowners with all outside maintenance, grounds, sprinkler, painting and in some cases roof replacement as well as trash pickup twice per week.  There are approximately 1200 residences in Summertree and the activity center has something for everyone, whether it be sports orientated, or crafts, dances, and/or the arts.
 

South Pinellas Beaches

 
Some of the finest beaches in Florida are right here in Pinellas County.  From Indian Rocks Beach South to St Pete Beach, there are miles of continuous beach for your enjoyment.   Whether you are looking for a Condo or Single Family, this is a great time to be buying.
